Migration from Shaw, wrong price, wrong communication, just wrong.

gaellebe
I've been here awhile

I was told i had to migrate from Shaw to Rogers, and that ill keep the exact same type of contract and price : 4GB data along with basic phone use. My first bill went from $15 to $70! what a surprise...  I have been passed around, interestingly been told that I signed up for  1BG plan that they do not have anything else apart from a $70 plan, ..really?
I am waiting to be called back only because I insisted, also w in the meantime I have received a 20$ rebate on the invoice, strange math, is it once? is it because i complained, will it be proportional to the time i waste on this (so far 2 hours, i did ask to taker the matter to email but weirdly "they don't do that", would it be to avoid paper trail?). How  am I glad I didnt sign up for auto pay!  if Rogers doesnt fix it  i will complain formally, as I never wanted to move from Shaw and this is the definition of a scam as far as i am concerned. Dont do it people.

Greetings @gaellebe

A warm welcome to the Community and we are elated to have you on board with us! 🙌 I'm saddened to hear that your migration process has been less than ideal so far. I can assure you this is most certainly not the type of experience we want you to be having. 😥

Regrettably, email is not currently a means of communication that we offer, however, I can assure you that each and every interaction you have with us is documented with notes and linked to an interaction number with the details of the conversations we have with you.

When do you anticipate the call back? Is it with our dedicated migration team for former Shaw customers? You can also sonnect with them through chat here as they are available 7 days a week, from 12 PM until midnight (ET).

Alternatively, you can also send us a message at @CommunityHelps and we'd be more than happy to assist you as well. To know how to send us a private message, check out this blog.

Regards,

RogersJo
