What happened to DW's German language programming (Channel 121 on Ignite Mississauga)?

I pay money to Rogers to receive Deutsche Welle (DW)'s German language programming on DW Amerika's channel 121 with Ignite Mississauga.  Thant channel usually had at least 18 hours of German language programming per day. 

All of a sudden, I am only receiving DW's English-language programming.  That is not what I pay Rogers a monthly fee for.

Why did this happen?  When will I get my German language programming back?

I'm still on Legacy Digital Cable, however, there are two German Channels. One is DW D+ (German) and the other is DW (English)?  Have a look through your guide?

Here's a very old thread with an explanation.  Are you tuned to the correct channel?  Channel number vary by location and service (Ignite/Digital).  Your voice control may be able to help you...

Let us know if we're not interpreting your question properly.  It's possible that Rogers have put the incorrect feed onto this channel?

Rogers simply switched the DW + German channel to # 874 from # 121 without prior notice to subscribers.  Frankly, it's just typical of this justifiably despised conglomerate; customers are the last of its priorities.

So, my hypothesis was correct. Sometimes these sorts of notices are announced in the MyRogers billing you get every month, sometimes not, as you noted.

Did you read the notice on DW's home page? There was a technical issue with DW's American signal. I'm not sure how this is a Rogers issue? Roger's simply rebroadcast the feed they receive to you. If the problem is at the source then its a DW issue.
