Rogers Xfinity App on Samsung TV?

Is anybody able to download the rogers xfinity app on a smart Samsung TV so that we don't need to rent the rogers box?

There is an andriod app, a firestick app but there is no samsung tv app nor roku app for ignite/xfinity tv.

Just to clarify - the Android app is a phone app.  There is no AndroidTV app although it might be possible to sideload the FireTV app on AndroidTV.

I believe the apps available are Android, iOS, iPadOS, FireTV and web page.
