Ignite TV App Unable to Cast

I can chromecast YouTube and other streaming to my TV but Ignite won't cast. It used to but now I just get error message. Very discouraged.

I do apologize to hear you are unable to cast from our Ignite TV app, but I certainly want to investigate this further for you. If I may ask a few questions to help us figure this out.

Are you using a Chromecast device or does your TV have it built in? 
What is the error message you are receiving? 
Can you please also try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it back if not already and test it out.

If you can provide us some of these additional details or let us know if you are still having issues with it.

I wonder if they changed something in the what its allowed/not allowed to, casting, etc wise.

I have a lightning to HDMI adapter for my iphone.
When you plug it in, it essentially does a screen share, etc to the TV through HDMI.
Netflix, etc.. works fine across the adapter.
With the rogers app, it will share the audio, but no picture is shared it just freezes the image on the device.
Compared to device which shares correctly, you just get the controls on the device screen
