Display time of day on screen - Ignite TV

prior to Ignite, the time of day displayed on the receiver. The Ignite receiver does not display time of day, so I'm wondering if there's an option to have Ignite display the time of day on screen full-time rather than just when the Guide is displayed.

Other than the home phone caller ID, this was the only major thing I find missing myself for the service.

My wife was wanting an Alexa, so I ended up letting her buy one with the clock display on it, it sits right beside where the new ignite box is 😛

May have to consider that for one of our rooms. If you're watching a TV show, you can always hit the "Guide" button and get the time in the upper right corner; not so when streaming.

about how much I would miss the digital clock on my old digital box.  The worst part is finding a substitute that I like lol.

My mom put a bedroom alarm clock next to her box, I was thinking about doing the same thing. 🙂

We just had Ignite installed today, replacing our last system which had become flakey and unreliable. I'm ignited now and not in a good way!
Rogers is too cheap to put aclock on the receiver. Incredibly, they are also so customer-abusive, that they cheapened it to the point of omitting indicator lights to inform a recording is set or in progress. These networks are growing in revenue, but rather than respect their subscribers, the hardest work they do is finding more efficient ways to fleece us.
