AppleTV Hangs at logo on Ignite TV Box

I just received a replacement unit, the XiOne-SC box which replaced by older Xi6-A unit (which worked flawlessly until it died). On my previous unit, I could use the AppleTV app not problem, but on my XiOne-SC box which is brand new from Rogers, the AppleTV app simply hangs at the Apple logo and won't get me into the app. I have tried a full System Refresh but still the same issue. I have the same issue on my Xi6-T box. Kind of frustrating that Rogers would release the app on their Ignite box and promote AppleTV, but doesn't work on their brand new box just shipped.

Any ideas or workarounds to get the app started? I've tried multiple exits and starting it again, but just always hangs at the first logo screen after it says Entering 3rd party app.

Just had a similar problem with my XiOne. It would Just hang on loading Netflix. Had it replaced and got a Xi6-t. You can't choose what you get for replacement unfortunately.

And BTW I was one of the consumer testers of the XiOne before public release.

So I found a workaround to bypass the loading screens. Basically search (voice or typing) for a show that is on that platform. In my case, I searched for Ted Lasso which opened AppleTV+ app but bypassed the initial loading screen and brought me to the login screen. Once signed in, no more stalled logo screen. There’s likely a bug in the initial loading screen, but searching for any show within the problematic platform seems to solve the issue.
