Hello. I've been in Italy for 2 weeks and want to turn roaming on so I can check in in my flight.
Questions... I have read all the info and don't understand 2 things
ET. This seems to refer to a time frame but is it 24 hours in Italy time...or 24 hours in Canada time
Roaming charges: $15 per day and uses my home data BUT it also says that in Italy I get 20 mb data
So if I turn everything back on in my phone ( sim, data & turn off airplane mode what will I expect?
Will I be able to read and answer text messages...check my voicemail or answer phone calls?
I intend to only use phone for 1 day...then turn on airplane mode again
Thanks for your help

@Suelorrie : I usually check in to my flight while still at the hotel and connected to WiFi, but that choice is obviously yours. Most Airports, or places in the airport also have WiFi, so you can check on your flight times, etc.
As discussed in the following roaming summary, the roaming charges are based on Eastern Time in Canada.
