Number Porting from Freedom

I've been around

I went in person today to get a Rogers plan. I ported the number from freedom to Rogers and everything seems like it was created. I however am unable to connect to the Rogers network and my phone is continually searching for a network to connect to. It has been over 5 hours, any suggestions/help?

Did you out your new Rogers SIM in your phone? Did they activate your SIM for you or do you need to call Customer Care to activate it?
