I've been around

Can't seem to log into the xfinity app as I get stuck in an endless loop of email, password, verification code, email, password, verification code etc.
New customers to Rogers and Shaw and already running into issues.

I did none of them and I don’t plan to. I’m good as long as the wifi works.

But I’m thankful to all the replies from all of you in this thread.

- The overall app score was 4.2 out of 5, with 52,000 reviews.

- Many of the recent one star reviews discussed Rogers Internet, not the app itself, and there were several comments from people who were upset that their moms were able to shut down their WiFi and stop their gaming...

- Obviously, the app can be better, but certainly it's not the terrible app that some make it out to be.

I am sorry to hear that you're stuck in a loop with our app, @Vincent88.

 

Could you please let us know what kind of device you're using and the OS version that you're currently running on it?

 

Have you tried any other troubleshooting other thank link/unlink? Have you attempted to login using another known working device, if you have one available?

Hello,

 

I’m reaching out because I’ve been experiencing an issue with the Rogers Xfinity app on my phone. Every time I try to access it, I get the error message "Sorry That Didn't Go As Planned," and it prompts me to try again. Without access to the app, I am unable to connect my Wi-Fi pods, which is causing dead zones in my home.

I’ve been dealing with this for a while now and have had multiple conversations with technical support, but each time, I end up without a solution. I’ve already exhausted troubleshooting steps like uninstalling and reinstalling the app, trying different devices, unlinking and relinking my account, and more, but nothing has worked.

This issue is specific to my internet, and I’m frustrated by the lack of resolution. If anyone has experienced something similar or has any suggestions on how to fix it, I would really appreciate your help!

Hello, @antisocial.

 

Thank you for joining this thread and sharing your app sign-in experience. 

 

Tapping "Sign in" on the app launches the default browser to complete the authentication. Can you clear the browser's cookies and cache and try signing in again? You can also try completing the authentication in a different browser if possible.

Can you confirm if the app was working well for you previously? Or has this issue been there from the start? If you try logging in using a web browser, do you get the same error? Are you able to access any other Rogers apps using those same credentials?

Another user was able to resolve their login issue by logging into their MyRogers profile online and completing an unlink/link of their Rogers account.

I have tried different browsers, different devices.

Still getting the same result. This is completely frustrating.
