My ignite tv is not allowing me to log in on my computer. It skips the login screen and goes to setting things up but does nothing after that. It just keeps spinning on the setting up screen.

Now that we know IgniteTV works, have you tried Private Mode in Edge?

https://ignitetv.rogers.com/ works for me. Have you tried clearing browsing data (cookies, cache, site data) to see if that will allow you to log in? Do you have any security-related extensions or content blockers active? Are you also using a fully up-to-date version of a supported web browser on a supported platform?

I have had a long conversation with a tech yesterday and an hour this morning in person with a tech at my apt. The only way we could get it to work was by downloading Firefox and then I could log in from there. It's a pain but I can watch Ignite again from the computer. It seems to be another Rogers glitch.

@qsgrampy Which browser were you trying to use before? I'll bet if you used Private Mode or Incognito on that browser, or disable the offending extension like an adblocker that it would work. See the tips outlined in the following post:

I was using Edge with no problems until last Saturday when the problem began. Everything else you have mentioned I have tried with no success.

Edge should work, assuming all other criteria are met...

At least you now have it working.

Edge doesn't work. The in person tech who brought a new modem in case that was the problem tried for an hour to get Edge working with no success. He set up Firefox which does work

You didn't try everything in my tips link because it mentions trying a different browser.

I'm not sure if you did, but if you got Edge working in Private Mode (InPrivate Window), this indicates that there is an issue with your cookies, or cache, or similar in normal mode. If you properly clear your cookies and cache in Edge, you should be able to get it working without the need to use Private Mode...

I am getting very tired. I have cleared everything - cookies and cache in Edge. I do it every night and I always have. There is nothing wrong with Edge but ignite tv works in private mode. Did you read the email that I posted about the help I got from Rogers including an hour long session with a tech working on my system? The only solution he could find was using Firefox.

1. If Edge works in Private Mode, this is almost always caused by a cookie or cache issue because Private Mode bypasses those. I'm not sure why Edge doesn't work normally. Perhaps @-G- has another idea, or perhaps your cookies/cache are not being properly cleared despite your best efforts. You should be able to tell if cookies are properly cleared because when you next need to login in normal mode, your userID should not be remembered, like it's not remembered in Private Mode (I assume you need to fill it in when you go to login).
2. Yes I did. He didn't try Private Mode, so I'm guessing he's not a browser expert, although he did eventually try a different browser, which is one of my "Tips recommendations".

At minimum, you will need to clear cookies, cache, and storage/offline website data, FOR ALL TIME. Don't just clear stuff that got stored in the last hour.
With Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers that I test with, I periodically clear EVERYTHING under Clear Browsing Data (except for Passwords and passkeys) for All time. That should get you back to a clean slate and allow even the most problematic web sites to function normally again.

Well, we have another problem with Rogers. I have been using Firefox to get Ignite on my computer as Edge was no longer working. Now when I try to log into Ignite on Firefox Rogers it just gives me a never ending series of picking bikes, cars, stairs etc. and never lets me log in. So, on top of not being able to use Outlook I can not use Ignite on my computer.

@qsgrampy : It seems we have been down this road before. Your recent question has been moved to this thread you started a couple of months ago.
1. Make sure you don't make any mistakes when trying to solve the Captcha as it may require you to solve more of them.
2. As discussed earlier in this thread, login issues are often related to issues with the browser you are using - specifically things like cookies, cache, extensions like adblockers, etc. Here's a link to a post with things for you to try, especially private mode in FireFox or incognito mode in Chrome which bypasses the "bad" cookies on your computer.
3. Or you can try Edge again using the "New InPrivate Window" as outlined in the "solution post."
4. If Private Mode or InPrivate Window work, then you know there is an issue with your cookies and cache in the browser. You need to clear out these "bad" cookies and cache in each browser. I'm not sure why yours are getting corrupted, but based on your earlier posts, this seems to be your issue and clearing them completely should get you going again.
