Thank you for your replyTony. I am using Firefox /W10. It shows as https://mail.yahoo.com.

I click 'Compose' and it will not permit to type into the To: field.

Add on

I am a Rogers customer since Monday and the cursor would not move when I tried typing.

Making a new post just now it was accepted without a problem.
