Upgraded to 1.5gb from 150mb internet yet still getting 150mb speeds on download

Hello! Yesterday I changed my package from 150mbps to 1.5gbps. I was still getting the 150mbps speed through a wired connection. I spoke to support yesterday who advised they see I'm on the 1.5gb package but couldn't understand why I was still at slower speeds of 150mb. My upload speeds are at 50mbps which is what's advertised, just my downloads are slow. I have the XB7 (Gen 2) modem.

Is there anything I can do other than restart the modem because I've done that multiple times.

Congratulations on upgrading to 1.5 Gbps Internet; it would have been fantastic to see the package speed.

Are you connecting your PC to port 4 of the modem? The port is marked with a vertical orange line. And what are the specs of your network interface card (Ethernet card)? It may need to be negotiating the correct speed.
