Slow Upload Speed

I have Rogers Xfinity Internet 150-Unlimited. I'm getting very good download speeds (usually greater than 300 Mbps), but my upload speed is usually pretty bad. I just carried out an internet speed test on two of my devices and the average upload speed was 8.12 Mbps. Shouldn't the upload speed be at least 15 Mbps with my 150-U internet package? As info I live in London, ON.

Getting under 10Mbps upload speed is lower than we would expect. I am sorry about that.

What kind of devices are you testing your upload speeds on? Have you tried running a speed test on a PC connected via Ethernet directly to your modem?

Thanks for your reply. For testing the download & upload speeds I'm using my HP Elitebook 840-G3 notebook as well as my Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone. Both devices use the 5GHz frequency (802.11ac protocol) to wirelessly connect to my Rogers 'Technicolor CGM4140' modem.

I also ran a speed test with my notebook connected via ethernet cable directly to my modem. There was no difference in the download & upload speeds.

Today I decided to reboot the modem. After the reboot I did another speed test and I happily got 20 Mbps upload speed, so a big improvement. By the way.. what level of upload speed should I be getting with my 150-U internet package? I can't find that information anywhere on the various Rogers webpages I've visited.
