Something I hered from a Rogers techsuport if u put a new router in Rogers will charge me $50 for a tech why would you charge me for an issue if im interested in on my privacy

I have not heard of a fee for support if you are using a third party router. If you are expecting Rogers to support equipment not issued by the ISP. That doesn't seem unreasonable. You could always disconnect the router and troubleshoot any issues before calling Rogers Support to make sure the issue is on their end or with their equipment.
