Rogers wifi pods gen 2 hard wired?

Pgrecs
I've been around

I just got my new wifi pods yesterday and I hard wired them into my modem. And they keep havejng a flashing green light and the ignite app says they are offline, it’s almost like they are always rebooting. When I unplug the Ethernet wire everything works fine. Can these gen 2 wifi pods even be connected via Ethernet? I was always under the impression that the gen 2 pods were capable of doing that?

I have Rogers fiber 1gb speed and the white modem

As far as I know, a wired backhaul between the Pods and the Gateway is not supported.  Comcast have said that they hope to support it some day but, at the moment, it is not possible with the current firmware.

FYI, it is now possible to configure an Ethernet backhaul between the Pod and the Gateway: https://communityforums.rogers.com/t5/Internet/Connecting-Ignite-WiFi-Pods-via-Ethernet/m-p/504996/h...
