Rogers Yahoo blocking emails from a specific domain all of a sudden

Leo890
I've been here awhile

Rogers started blocking emails from a specific domain I have been getting emails from the past 20 years. I get lots of emails a year from this company and i need it for my job. I checked all my spam settings, filter settings everything i could. Rogers has no idea. I am getting spam emails asking if I want a russian bride, but i cannot get emails from a work address?

Any suggestions, i really need this working for me for my lively hood. I am not at wits end with rogers, the app passoword issue that lasted months,, and not all of a sudden doing this. Thank you for this forum

Rogers/Yahoo! will blacklist any companies that send a lot of e-mails that are reported by their e-mail customers as spam.  You will need to contact the company, who will have to contact Rogers/Yahoo! (probably Yahoo! since it's probably their filter), prove they don't send spam, and get whitelisted again.

They dont send a ton of emails, its just typical business type emails to their clients. Would they still get blacklisted for that?

I am not privy to Yahoo!'s methods or algorithm - sorry.  If it's not just you and the company is being blocked, they will need to contact Yahoo mail.  Have you checked with other company employees, customers?

I've been around

I’m suddenly having a similar issue with any mail that is sent to my “anyname@mydomain.com” email address which gets redirected to my “username@rogers.com” email account.  It’s worked perfectly for over 15 years but is suddenly blocking them all?  Wondering if you ever got this resolved?   Calling Rogers support would be useless since nobody at that level would understand the issue properly.  Is there any way to contact the real technical email support staff at Rogers, or more likely Yahoo?

I'm suddenly having this issue too!   Our clients and other contacts are not getting our emails send from our domain if we send the to addresses that are with Rogers/Yahoo. Sometimes it happens with Gmail too but nothing is going on Rogers/Yahoo.  This is extremely difficult for our contacts that we're working with.   We don't send spam mail outs.

Who do we contact at Rogers Yahoo?  I can't find anything?    Our domain ivanhicks.com seems to be blocked from getting messages to anyone with email addresses with Rogers or Yahoo.    None are going in their spam folders and we are not blocked by the receiver we sent to.

We have had the same address since the 90s and these are messages going to people who want them.  We have important shows coming up and contracts and this is a serious issue for us to not be able to communicate.

There was a txt file that read:
Arrival-Date: Tue, 27 May 2025 13:41:37 -0400

Final-Recipient: rfc822; xxx@yahoo.ca (I hid her email address)

Action: Failed

Status: 5.3.0 (other or undefined mail system status)

Greetings @IvanHicks ,

We appreciate you joining us in the community forums and for sharing your dilemma. I'm sorry to hear this has been happening! 😞

By any chance, have you taken a look at this Yahoo! customer support page? Help for your Yahoo Account

To speak with a live agent by phone, you'd have to be subscribed to their Paid Premium Support service. Otherwise, you can get support from them via Facebook or Twitter. You may also want to ask the affected users to reach out for assistance since they have email accounts with them directly.

Kind regards,

RogersYasmine

Thanks for the reply Yasmine.   We have sent messages to Yahoo through our assistant with the Yahoo account but we haven't heard anything from Yahoo yet.   We're really stuck as all our contacts know us through our email address from our domain for our career.

Our domain is hosted with Bell Aliant and we worked with them too and they can find no issues on their end either.    We've been with Rogers for years for our internet and now this.

Same issues happening here....we've been LONG time Rogers customers using same address etc and now all of a sudden many of our customers are unable to receive our mail.

Would love to hear how to fix this issue! SO frustrating when you rely on this communication for your livelihood!

Re: Rogers Yahoo blocking emails from a specific domain all of a sudden

Hello @covecrackie

Thank you so much for reaching out. I am wondering if there are specific email domains that you are unable to send your emails to? Also, are you able to let us know where you are located?

Thanks!

This just started happening to me yesterday I’m getting very frustrated!!!!!

Re: Rogers Yahoo blocking emails from a specific domain all of a sudden

We are located in Petty Harbour Maddox Cove, Newfoundland. We seem to be having noticeable trouble with sending E-mails to Outlook, Hotmail or gmail. Messages bounced back and I’m told senders domain don’t meet authentication requirements…Spf =fail, Dkim=pass, DMARC=pass
