Hello Rogers Team, can you get me shipped the Rogers Xfinity Gateway (Gen 3) to replace my current Gen 2 internet connector. The speed achieved is ver disappointing and we need to also improve WiFi connectivity with our devices. Thanks!

@McMmmm As far as speeds and features go, the Gen 2 and Gen 3 gateways are the same. The only significant difference is that the Gen 3 (XB8) gateway offers Wi-Fi 6E, which adds another radio on the 6 GHz band, and only provides high-speed connectivity at very close range. If you don't have any Wi-Fi 6E devices, the XB8 won't offer any significant advantages over the XB7. Some people have also found that their older Wi-Fi devices would not connect to the XB8, and there is no fix for this.
If you need to improve Wi-Fi coverage, the XB8 won't help with that either. You might want to consider adding Wi-Fi Pods.
