Yes, you can connect the gateway to any coax connection in your house. Most people put it in a central location in their home, for optimal Wi-Fi coverage. Others choose a location where they have devices that require Ethernet connectivity.

No, not anymore. I think that the rental fee is now $5/month.
3. I am getting 500u installed, what modem am I likely to get?
You should be getting the Ignite XB7 Gateway.
