I have separated my wifi bands to separate which SSID my devices are connected to and now I can't change the passwords. When I change the password in the app, the change does not take place, the old password remains when connecting. Please help!

I appreciate you posting your concern; in most scenarios, having band steering enabled provides a balanced home WiFi network. However, if you must use separate networks, then changing the password is not a requirement.
You may want to start fresh, reboot the modem, relaunch the app and change the password. After you change the password and apply the changes, it may take a little while for the change to take effect.

PS: If you have WiFi Pods, then you can’t disable band steering.
