Internet dropping 2 to 3 times a day this week

I've been around

I work from home.
My internet keeps dropping 2 to 3 times a day and sometimes takes up to 3 to 5 minutes to reconnect

I think this started around Sunday December 1st ?
I use the rogers app, and it says I have no/poor network connection, even when I don't .
I am near Carleton University, Ottawa.

Thanks so much for your post! I'm sorry to hear about the intermittent connection issues you've been experiencing. I can see how that would be very disruptive if you are working from home. 😞

 

Do you find that all of your devices disconnect simultaneously when this happens? Have you recently made any changes to your modem placement or configuration?

 

I would recommend checking your connections going to and from your modem to ensure they are tightly secured. If you are using any third party equipment (power bar, router, etc.) in your set-up, I'd try removing those to see if the problem continues. You may also do a reboot of your modem by unplugging it for a minute and then plugging it back in.
