Yesterday my Rogers Yahoo Home Page just disappeared and the icon was replaced with a My Yahoo Icon. The page looks nothing like the Home Page that I had. I have been looking all day to possibly try to rebuild it, but the template that I used way back when is no longer there. Can I get my homepage back or has Rogers Yahoo made changes and what I see now is all they are offering. I hope this is not too confusing, thank you

I assume you're talking about the home page in a browser. Is this the one you want?
If it is, or if you find it, go into your Browser Settings and set it as your home/startup page.

Thankyou for your reply. The link you provided is what replaced my own home page. Years ago Yahoo offered a template for a home page that allowed the user to lay out information from links they provided for sports, weather, business and finance, The offered lists of websites covering news sites that could be checked off and then loaded onto the page for me to lay out the way I liked. It was so good, all the information I needed on one page. I included the page in my start up and the whole page could be refreshed using the button. Whatever caused the page to go away, my start up page was altered with the link you provided. Strange, I was working on my laptop and got up and went away and came back and my page was gone. I checked for viruses and malware and nothing came up, Any ideas, thanks

For a few weeks now, there has been a red banner at the top of the my.yahoo page (your former home page) saying that soon we will be re-directed to the new page. I guess soon happened yesterday. This is what Rogers/Yahoo has replaced your page with. I don't like it either but there it is. 😢

Oh!! I think I saw that banner but I can't remember anything about it. If you are correct and this new Home Page, which is generic, then this is a step backward as one now has to spend significant time searching for the information that formerly was all in one place and current. Thanks for the help

Thankyou, looks like I will have to tinker with it to make it useable for my needs. It is sad, I don't think Yahoo made things better at all and many might move to other sites that are more user friendly. How can that be in Yahoos interest? Anyway, thanks for the effort, if you find anything closer to my old Home Page, shoot it over will ya. Thanks.

My home page disappeared - how can I fet it back

Hey, I went through this yesterday and the trail of help messages is above. It looks like Yahoo deleted our Home Pages and replaced it with what I find is a garbage page with stale news. Why they did it, I don't know, likely for reasons of $. I am trying to figure out if I can rebuild it with the info I want on it, but I have not figured out how yet or even if I can. It may result in me having to open many tabs to get to the info I got on my home page. If that is the arrangement I have to follow, then it is a poor solution.
Hope this helps

I also saw that they were going to redo the Yahoo/rogers homepage, but I was hoping that we could keep the old one that we were able to customize. I would it back, but unfortunately, it looks like that is not the case. Is there another provider that allows for customized homepages?

@jk12 : The provider has nothing to do with the home page and configuration you desire. You need to search for another webpage that allows for the custom configuration you want. I mentioned Google News in an earlier post that allows for a certain amount of configuration.

Thanks, I might end up going that route, but I was hoping for more features than just news. But like brownkm, I had it customized which included other features that weren't news-related.
