Free ignite wifi pod offer .

jimy
I plan to stick around
Last week chatted with rogers about connectivity issues..was told neighborhood issue and would be texted when corrected.
Out of the blue yesterday received email for free pod. Part of email below explaining why.
Is it just coincidence that I received this offer as I can't see a pod fixing a network service problem?

"As part of our Ignite WiFi Satisfaction Guarantee, our Network and Technical Support teams actively monitor the Rogers network to stay ahead of issues and help keep you connected. Through this, we have found that your home might be experiencing internet/WiFi issues."

A pod will not help with the outside network, however, in the same way that you can look at the health of your home network using the Ignite Home Connect App, Rogers may have seen that some of your home WiFi may not be working properly.  You can utilize the Home Connect app to "test" your home network to see if you've got WiFi or other connection issues.

It doesn't hurt to take the free pods, those are great to fill coverage in areas of your home the modem cant reach that well.
