Adding wireless printer and printing from wireless devices

Trying to add older brother printer so I can print from chrome book and iPhone/mini Mac/iPad

Few questions. Does the printer itself have wireless or wired networking on it?
If you post the model I can look it up.
Even if networked, It may not have the right things in it to be able to print from some devices.

@JP201  If your printer is unable to find (or connect to) your Wi-Fi network, it could also be due to an incompatibility with Band Steering, if you have that enabled.

Hi it is a Brother HL 2270 DW that used to work when my computer with disc drive worked. It says it is a wireless printer. I now have iPhone, iPad, chrome book that I would like to connect it to test her than buying a new printer

This is a really nice printer, its got wireless AND wired capabilities built in. I would recommend wired connection to your modem but if you insist on having wireless, here is a tutorial from Brother on how to set up wireless printing:
