Can I not search internet on my smart tv with ignite??? And download apps like Spotify? What the hec

Nope it is a locked down device. Only rogers can put approved apps on it.

Do you mean on the TV itself? Is the Tv connected to the network via wifi? I can on my smart TV.
If you mean on the Ignite Box, no. You cannot, they are added by Rogers when available.
