Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / S6 edge + Reservation numbers / Questions

As you noticed today Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 5. I watched the announcement at work while it was going on.  Here are some specs on it! 

• Android 5.1 Lollipop, TouchWiz
• 5.7inch Quad-HD Super Amoled (2560×1440)
• Exynos 7420 octa-core (2.1GHz quad + 1.5GHz quad) 64bit, 14nm
• 4GB of RAM
• 32 GB storage (No SD card slot) 
• Non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with Fast Charging
• 16MP rear camera F1.9 lens and OIS (optical image stabilization)
• 5MP front-facing camera
• WiFi N, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC
• 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm
• 171g
• Wireless charging
• SPen
• 4G LTE enable

Rogers will be selling it for $359.99 on a 2-year term, $860 no-term  and the reservation system will be open as of August 14th. 

Rogers will be releasing this device ON August 21st in 32GB sapphire black it seems but hopefully they add the more GB later on.

Well I am likely to be purchasing the 64gb Nexus 6P directly from Google. Once again, Rogers in their typical ineptitude is only caring the 32 gb version. Unacceptable.

Again this isn't Rogers doing it. Show me one Canadian carrier that had the Note 5 in 64gb... No one does. This is due to Samsung agreements only giving them the 32gb.

Not just Rogers, all Canadian carriers haven't order the 64gb versions, it makes no sense why Samsung wouldn't want to bring them to Canada when there's been such a high demand for them,at least Bell now is starting to bring the other colours available, they just got the silver Note 5 last week.

Yup i explained that multiple times on the thread. It's not Rogers doing this. It's Samsung denying it to the carriers unless there is a agreement in place. Only one color was brought out by Bell which was the titanium silver. No there colors came out. So it seems only colors will come out and nothing else.

Looks like Telus got the Titanium Silver now as well. Will Rogers be getting it as well? Also, I really want the Pearl white note 5 😕

Most likely Rogers will release it quietly like Bell and Telus did. White might come later on unless Rogers releases white before the titanium silver

Is there a way you can get him that model? If not.. He has made his choice as that's the color he wants and i really doubt u guys can give it to him unless Rogers will release it...

I feel the same way. Been so frustrated waiting for a new color, and now Bell and Telus both have the silver tinanium color while Rogers has no news of it.

Today, I saw and touched the Galaxy Note 5 with Silver Titanium color at Bell boutique.

Next week will be the week.

Rogers, you have maximum one week to offer a new color.

Unfortunately I don't think anyone at Rogers head office will say anything unless they release it or Announce it within the next couple of days.

Best bet if they don't, then switch as they can't really offer you anything if u want that color and they won't offer it.

As it seems as though Samsung will not be offering anything bigger than the 32gb note 5 in Canada, is Rogers able to do anything regarding unwanted space wasting and unnecessary resource usage? For example, providing the note 5 as a stock android experience? Or perhaps removing all of the unwanted bloatware?

It is EXTREMELY disappointing that Samsung has left out an SD card slot on their latest note 5 and if Rogers could do anything to maximize the phone's potential I think customers would greatly appreciate it.
