Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / S6 edge + Reservation numbers / Questions

As you noticed today Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 5. I watched the announcement at work while it was going on.  Here are some specs on it! 

• Android 5.1 Lollipop, TouchWiz
• 5.7inch Quad-HD Super Amoled (2560×1440)
• Exynos 7420 octa-core (2.1GHz quad + 1.5GHz quad) 64bit, 14nm
• 4GB of RAM
• 32 GB storage (No SD card slot) 
• Non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with Fast Charging
• 16MP rear camera F1.9 lens and OIS (optical image stabilization)
• 5MP front-facing camera
• WiFi N, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC
• 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm
• 171g
• Wireless charging
• SPen
• 4G LTE enable

Rogers will be selling it for $359.99 on a 2-year term, $860 no-term  and the reservation system will be open as of August 14th. 

Rogers will be releasing this device ON August 21st in 32GB sapphire black it seems but hopefully they add the more GB later on.

Thats good to hear!. Did you get that agreement with the store manager or is it written down on a paper signed? Many times the store does not & then they wont honour it.

Difference has always been, FS staff are all over you and BB staff were hard to track down. The difference between commission and hourly pay. I still struggle to find a sales rep at Best Buy from time to time. In the end, most are kids ( or young adults ) and I usually know more than they do. I still prefer to go to dedicated shops to get better service.

@Meowmix, it's been written into the " logger " ( don't know specifically what that is ) but she entered in the logger and said if she's not in, just tell the rep to read the logger.

I walked into BB for 3D Camera, and I was teaching the "Camera Specialist" difference between sensors and software. And why I don't want Software based 3D Camera.
Never ended up getting anything. Not even being referred to Henry's or Black's. (Henry's hate 3D cameras by the way. they think it's a waste of product line lol - since consumer grade isn't anything but a gimick 😞 lol)

Hey @Patthe was it shipped to you or at store?
If it was shipped, it can be shipped separately as I read on the details of the Reservations. If it was at store, it would have been together.

Since it was shipped to the store, the FAQ does say sometimes the free item may be delivered to the store a few days before or after the reservation device goes to the store.

Yeah. It has happened to me & many others before. The device arrived at the store before the gift did. So the store calls u after to come & pick it up.

Are you a Business customer? That is the only way a reservation would be shipped to your home.

@Meowmix - If that's the case, would they be able to track a "free gift" as a seperate order that has no IMEI or Serial number to be tracked in the first place?

I agree w/ @Meowmix though, might as well call in to find out details with business service.
