Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / S6 edge + Reservation numbers / Questions

As you noticed today Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 5. I watched the announcement at work while it was going on.  Here are some specs on it! 

• Android 5.1 Lollipop, TouchWiz
• 5.7inch Quad-HD Super Amoled (2560×1440)
• Exynos 7420 octa-core (2.1GHz quad + 1.5GHz quad) 64bit, 14nm
• 4GB of RAM
• 32 GB storage (No SD card slot) 
• Non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with Fast Charging
• 16MP rear camera F1.9 lens and OIS (optical image stabilization)
• 5MP front-facing camera
• WiFi N, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC
• 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm
• 171g
• Wireless charging
• SPen
• 4G LTE enable

Rogers will be selling it for $359.99 on a 2-year term, $860 no-term  and the reservation system will be open as of August 14th. 

Rogers will be releasing this device ON August 21st in 32GB sapphire black it seems but hopefully they add the more GB later on.

nvm found one ; > going in an hour or so... decided to pick one up and use it for the 15 days and see if i like it.. my s6 Edge has 64gb and i've used 25GB.. so i think 32 should be ok.. if not.. sell and buy the the new nexus.. hopefully it doesn't look as ugly as the leaks..

Order has been IN PROGRESS for 2 days now. When can I expect it?

Pretty annoying and useless pre-ordering system when the stores have plenty of inventory

Just received an email and text from Rogres saying it's shipped with UPS tracking number. This forum is awesome, one post and shipped out within 5 minutes later!

it's funny that pre orders are arriving now or tomorrow a week after launch... and yet i wasn't even sure i wanted this device till a day ago and i got it that day... i remember the days when pre orders arrived in store or at the doorstep on launch day...

Do any of you who have recieved / had theirs move to "shipped" status recall what your numbers were in the queue?

Yeah those were the days but it does happen with most devices. It seems like the Note line is having this issue

Sometimes it's due to having a large shipment so UPS declines the order until the next day or if the process hasn't put through in time for UPS to pick up, the wait is there.

I don't understand why I am still showing 'in progress' since the beginning of the week considering I was #10 in the National reservation system... I am having the device shipped to corporate Rogers Plus store in the GTA which means it get's there next day once it actually ships...

So I ended up getting my cellphone, but not paying the $359.99 price because my current plan is a regular smartphone plan and I had to upgrade to a $90 dollar plan that was the same amount of data as mine. (Which i didnt. I just paid $539 for the phone) which will work out okay because my friend is buying my old OnePlus phone off me for $200.

Also didnt get the charger either but at least I got an awesome phone! (I also messed up the S pen sensor because i wasnt paying attention and inserted it the wrong way, but the pen still works)

Also, you don't get the charger? Why not? You reserved it. Shouldn't you still get it?

(I haven't read the fine prints - Do you need to sign 2yr to get the charger?)

Oh no! But common sense.. That won't be covered under warranty and thus it will cost to fix :(.

I am still stuck with Status:      IN PROGRESS...  it makes no sense as I reserved it 13 days ago... 6 days ago they started showing up in stores... a week after that and I still don't have an actual ETA... very annoying!!!
