Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / S6 edge + Reservation numbers / Questions

As you noticed today Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 5. I watched the announcement at work while it was going on.  Here are some specs on it! 

• Android 5.1 Lollipop, TouchWiz
• 5.7inch Quad-HD Super Amoled (2560×1440)
• Exynos 7420 octa-core (2.1GHz quad + 1.5GHz quad) 64bit, 14nm
• 4GB of RAM
• 32 GB storage (No SD card slot) 
• Non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with Fast Charging
• 16MP rear camera F1.9 lens and OIS (optical image stabilization)
• 5MP front-facing camera
• WiFi N, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC
• 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm
• 171g
• Wireless charging
• SPen
• 4G LTE enable

Rogers will be selling it for $359.99 on a 2-year term, $860 no-term  and the reservation system will be open as of August 14th. 

Rogers will be releasing this device ON August 21st in 32GB sapphire black it seems but hopefully they add the more GB later on.

Mine still says open.

I am now at 34. When I first placed my reservation I was in the mid 50's if I recall (54?)

I really do hope to see my phone this week....

On a side note: I really want Mobile Gaming to seriously take off... Not these "Clash of Clans" type, I mean, serious gaming... maybe when the world data network technology runs at 100gbps? lol

Official Launch date was 3 Days ago no?
Both 32GB and 64GB?
Stock obviously may limit that but I thought both were released at same time?

On Side note:
I was reading up online and 128 GB version were advised by Samsung "As not available" and was pulled off their website. But obviously it is offered or at least the plan for it is... in North American market. Question is, will it reach Canada. x__x

I found an Edge+ 64GB in Edmonton!    Went to my Samsung store at West Edmonton Mall.    They had like 50 in stock!   HAHAHA.     None at any Rogers.

Still waiting on my Note 5. This is abysmal customer support on Rogers' side. They have the phones and chargers in store but I apparently can't pick one up without paying for the charger. Rediculous.

It seems like Samsung is doing what Apple did. Supply their own stores with more and the carriers get less. It seems to be the trend now I noticed.

It's not really ridiculous... You will get one with the phone u reserved. The ones at the store are store stock only. They aren't for reservations. When a reservation phone ships to the store, in that box it includes the wireless charger or whatever gift Rogers gives out.

Yes that is correct. It can take 1-3 business days to ship out the device. So until then u won't get a email unless it ships out. U should be getting it before the end of this week

Once it leaves the warehouse and in transit, email is sent to you.
Otherwise, no email.
You also get a call from the store to tell you they have received the device and to come pick it up.

You can actually drop by before they call you... if the timing is right.. I did that before by luck lol

That is what I said above :).

That is correct. You can also call the store if they haven't called u within an hour or so after the was delivered and tell them u will stop by. This will cause less of a confusion and problems u see lol
