Unreturned equipment charge

I cancelled my Rogers internet service as of yesterday (November 22/23). I returned the modem to a Rogers store the same date as cancellation on November 22/23.

I received my Rogers bill and have been billed an unreturned equipment charge on the same day as account cancellation. I am under the understanding that unreturned equipment charges aren’t made until 30 days after account cancellation.

I have cancelled Rogers services and returned equipment before and have never had this happen.

It may depend on the billing date, rather than 30 days. Did you get a receipt for the returned equipment?  If you have that, you can forward that to Rogers or go back to the store and have them straighten it out, or PM the mods on this forum by clicking @CommunityHelps
