I just suspended and reactivated my sister’s number for 2 months as she was out of the country that is linked to my account. I reached out asking for a temporary suspension of mine and was refused. It doesn’t say anywhere that RPP plans cannot be paused and I’m so confused since they did it merely months ago. Was transferred to 4 different representatives and received no concrete answers to explain the discrepancy.

Members of the Rogers Preferred Program (RPP) enjoy exclusive corporate discounts on their monthly plans. The plans have lucrative monthly discounts which aren’t compatible with the voluntary temporary suspension.
Could it be that your sister's line is not on an RPP plan? If you're planning to be out of the country for a long time maybe you can look into changing your plan to one that's compatible with temporary suspension.
