Trying to cancel my account

I've been around

I have been trying to cancel my internet account since May 2024 and Rogers will not let me cancel it. In addition to that they are also continuing to bill me for a service I no longer use, at an address I am no longer at, with no activity showing on the account. They threatening to send me to collection. I should note that when trying to cancel my account there was zero balance, zero owing on my account. Customer service has been extremely unhelpful and rude, swearing at me, saying they can’t do anything. I get bounced to billing and they tell they can’t do anything and they bounce me back to customer care. This is fraudulent that they keep charging me for a service that I am not using. It is extremely frustrating and stressful!

I've been here awhile

Trying also to cancel my account and conveniently for days, the customer service department is closed (during day time hours) -- I am certain my phone number associated with my account has been flagged to not get through.  This is my notice that I want all services shut off as of TODAY.

Although we would like to better understand what led you to this decision, we're happy to let us know how to reach our customer relations department.

Start by dialing 1-888-ROGERS1(764-3771) or *611 from your Rogers phone. Confirm your account by pressing 1, then select 4 for "Account changes", and then 5 to "Cancel a service".

You can also contact them via Live chat through this link https://www.rogers.com/contact/general-inquiries/tv and specify that you wish to cancel your account to Anna, so she can forward you to the proper department.
