Rogers Refer a Friend Program is Scam

NihaP
I've been here awhile

The Rogers Refer a Friend Program is definitely fake. I have referred 6 friends in 2023 and its shows that all of them are successfully referred but I haven't gotten any credit for it yet. Even after sending multiple emails to their customer service representative there is no reply. Their referral department only accepts forms but no calls and replies back that the referral was successful but doesn't have access to billing info. When called, their customer services agents don't have any clue what to do as their is not transfer number for their referral department. This back and forth has really left me annoyed at this point and I'll not be extending my contract with Rogers nor will refer them to anyone again.

Hello @NihaP,

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums.

I appreciate the feedback, it's really disappointing to learn you've exhausted all contact efforts without success. It looks like there is only the one way to contact the team. Have you tried to escalate the issue once you hear from them?

Indeed I have. They are the ones who said my referrals were successful but don’t have access to my billing info as that is a separate department.

Re: Rogers Refer a Friend Program is scam

@NihaP How long ago were these referrals completed? Typically the $50 credit is applied on the first bill after the 30 days (so depending on your bill cycle, the credit adjustment can take 30 to 60 days).

I referred my friend in September 2023. I’d say it’s been more that 60 days.
