I use an eSim provider for data while travelling. But I need to be able to receive SMS sent to my Rogers phone number for two factor authentication into various Web services. Can someone please walk me through the settings to configure this on an Android device (Google Pixel 7). I wish to avoid roaming fees. Thanks!

@rnantel : Here's a link to a post regarding avoiding or minimizing roaming charges.
In your case, I'm not sure you can avoid charges of some kind for the texts. I would suggest that you contact Rogers and remove "Roam Like Home" from your account. This would preclude the $15/day charge when connected. You could then utilize "Pay per use" charges for the particular country, as outlined in the following link. As long as you only use it occasionally, it should be about $0.75/text depending on the country and the length of the text.
