Review of Rogers BYOP Connections

I recently enrolled in Rogers BYOP connections through the Uber app, attracted by a promotional deal that offered the first line for $30 and the second line for $35. However, upon enrollment, there was no mention of a connection fee of $70 that would be applied later. To my surprise, I received a bill totaling over $250, which included connection fees amounting to $140.
Additionally, I did not receive the promised discounts, particularly the wireless discounts, which contributed to my frustration. The customer service experience has been challenging; I’ve spent nearly 3 to 4 hours on the phone each day trying to resolve these issues. Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of communication regarding fees and the difficulty in obtaining the promised discounts.

Hello @Fazy,

Welcome to the Community!

I appreciate the details you've shared. Price plan, offer and applicable fee info is always listed under "details" or "more info". This information would also be included in activation emails. The first bill can be more due to partial charges and one time fee. Are the wireless line charges more than $30 and $35 respectively?

We'd know more, once we have access to your account. You can contact us by sending a private message @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further.
