I’ve been with Rogers for 17 years with no gaps or interruptions. Of course, I’ve had to fight it out with them often for all sorts of reasons, but the biggest insult to me is that after finally cancelling and moving my business to Bell, that is when Rogers started inundating me with calls offering me new and better offers trying to get me to come back to them. I have showed Rogers my loyalty to them for 17 years and by my rough estimation, I have given them about $85 000 worth of business over that time. Rogers should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for this behavior. I never received offers to reduce my bill while with them, only offers for more Gigs on phones, or to add services I didn’t need or want that would ultimately make my bill amount rise. It’s extremely insulting but they don’t care. What they need is for these big American(not a fan of supporting American products at this time mind you) companies to come in and offer these . some competition. I’m so fed up with Rogers that I’m not even going to support the Blue Jays anymore. I’m with Bell now, and they don’t care either. It’s pretty much a two company monopoly for telecommunications, but at least I was offered services with no stupid contracts, and I now have a 3GB internet service that works and doesn’t cut off 15 times per work day, and I haven’t had to spend 2-3 days to try to reach customer service.
