I travelled to overseas December last year but before I did that I called Rogers to put hold on my phone service I talked to someone and told me that you can do that for $7 a month but before we do that you’ve to pay your current bill which I did and I also provided to them my bank account to withdraw every month but after a month and half I’m getting bills that shows much more money and called they’re telling me it’s $30 not $7 for the temporary suspension even though I talked to several different people about it.

Hello @Ymusse11,
Thanks for sharing the details of your recent experience. I'm sorry to hear that you were billed for more than you were expecting, while on a voluntary, temporary suspension. That certainly doesn't make for a very positive experience! We'll try to do better moving forward.
I am able to confirm that when adding a voluntary suspension for your wireless services, it is indeed $30/month + taxes (plus the cost of your monthly financing plan, if applicable) for each line that is suspended. The cost of your price plan is waived for the duration of the suspension period.
I hope this helps clarify. If you'd like for us to review the details of the notes left by the agent you spoke to, we'd be happy to do so. Simply send us a PM @CommunityHelps to get started. 🙂
Kind regards,
RogersYasmine

I have a $29/M plan and they want to charge $30/M to put on hold. I'm just going to cancel and find a better provider.
