Extremely painful customer service

fishstar0
I've been around

Yesterday, I switched from Koodo to Rogers yesterday for my internet provider, I financed an Iphone 14, and a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and ported my two lines over. One of my lines I got the 5g infinite lite and the other 5g infinite premium. The next day I realized that the phone lines were not correct, I had the incorrect line on the 5G infinite lite, and the other on the 5G infinite premium. I called to have them switched at 8AM this morning and after the switch I looked and my bill went up by 60$ dollars per month across the two phones. I went through the support tree for 7 hours from that time until now trying to get the matter resolved. While everyone was very courteous, polite and understanding nobody was actually able to resolve my issue. My bill still says 120$ for both lines instead of 85$ and 95$.

I have 14 days to cancel the plan with no repercussions from my original contract, and will be exercising that and switching to a different provider if nobody reaches out to make this right. I consistently upgrade both of my phones every two years, and before this negative experience was also considering switching my internet to rogers from bell as well to stick to one provider. Please reach out if you want to keep me as a customer.

It is unlikely that this will happen on this forum since it's a peer to peer endeavour.  What you need to do is private message the mods on this forum who are usually able to assist:

When logged into the forum, click on @CommunityHelps  .  On the page that comes up, you'll see a link on the top right of the screen to "send a message".  If you're using a tablet or phone, you may need to switch your browser to the desktop version. How to do that will depend on the device but a web search should find it.  There may be some back and forth required while Rogers get your personal information to look into your account.  Personal information is not allowed in this forum.

When logged into the forum, check the envelope icon at the top right of the screen for messages.  You would usually also receive an e-mail that you have a PM, but it may have ended up in your spam folder...

Remember this is a very busy time of year and probably not everyone is working on top of that.
