Shaw migration process need help

I'm here a lot

I'm seeing all the horror stories with Shaw migration and starting the 1st of my 5 lines yesterday.

I'm hoping to avoid the billing issues many are experiencing but first I want to know how to get help!

 

Where is a step by step list to follow?

All I can find is insert new sim which I've done and when I setup and goto my new Rogers account it says that number port from shaw is already requested.

 

I've tried the online help chat but nobody ever answers. Shaw had it's issues but they actually responded and to their credit always had good experiences with the online help chat.

 

It's been 18 hours and my temp number is still active.

I need help with the porting of the number quickly as I'm missing work related calls

We certainly want your migration and port-in of your wireless number to go as smoothly as possible. Have you tried contacting our dedicated team who handles these Shaw to Rogers wireless migrations? If not, they would be your best bet to find out your porting status and verify next steps! To reach them, you'll want to call 1-888-764-3771 (7 days a week, from 7am - 10pm, EST) and request to be transferred to our Wireless Shaw Migration team (also know as the "Rogers Together with Shaw Ambassadors team").

I've been around

i was on the phone for 45mins another 2.5 hours jumped to 4 different people only for my call to drop and now on hold for 40 mins to try to speak to someone.
