Cannot port number from Shaw to Rogers

I've been around

Phone number migration from Shaw to Roger was not successful!
I have been dealing with trying to port over from Shaw to Rogers since Oct  and have spent hours on the phone only to be told that they aren't sure what the solution is, Rogers needs to get Shaw on the phone at the same time, Shaw is closed, Shaw's system is down, call Shaw to ask them to reactivate  the number , call Rogers to activate the number , It is an endless loop with no permanent number and a dead phone that no longer works thanks to this. 
I did exactly as Roger instructed me when I got the new SIM in the mail and are paying for a phone plan that offers nothings. So frustrated and disappointed in this whole experience and need a working phone
