Cable wire was attached to the box on my property over a year ago. We were told it would be removed in a couple of weeks. Since then, another cable wire has been attached and no one is coming to remove them!
They’re wrapped around my tree & above & across the sidewalk. They’re ugly and I want them removed ASAP!

@Leaflover1 It's unusual for temporary wires to be left up for so long but it depends on why they are still there. In my area, some houses are not getting a strong-enough signal, so Rogers maintenance techs rigged temporary cables (crossing the street and crossing driveways) to interconnect pedestals, and those cables cannot be taken down until their replacements can get buried... and that requires permits from the city.
If you send a private message to @CommunityHelps , they can check the schedules for your area to see if any work is planned to finish the work that got started last year.
Here is some more information on how the burial process works:

The cable hanging around my home for three years and rogers haven’t fixed it, been on phone with them for 3 hours trying to sort things out. It’s very frustrating that the tech didn’t come to Fix it, Covid was the reason they couldn’t do it properly and still hasn’t been done
