Volume Announcement

With each volume level change, an announcement comes on stating what volume level is at.

 

Why is this happening?

If the accessibility settings are off as suggested in the last post of that thread, then it's probably a setting in your TV, not the IgniteTV box, as I suggested in my posts in that thread.

 

As stated there, the IgniteTV box doesn't "know" what volume your TV is set to, therefore it is highly likely that it has something to do with a TV setting, not IgniteTV box.

 

You can also test this by using your TV remote instead of the Rogers IgniteTV remote to change the volume...

 

For example, here's a link for Sony TVs.

Based on the following link, it appears that some TVs even have shortcuts that you may have unknowingly enabled:
