Goes back in time when changing channels.

I've been around

When I change channels from a recorded show to live tv (like sports) when I switch channels back it always starts showing many seconds behind in time. So frustrating. Any fixes I should try?

Hi @DDSR,

Thank you for joining us here at the Rogers Community Forums.

Can you try to reset your Ignite modem by unplugging it from power for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in again? Once the LED turns a solid white, reboot the Ignite Entertainment box for your TV. Test it out and let us know if the issue persists.

That is due to the encoding delay before the channel can be streamed.  If you tune to a channel like CP24, the channel's clock will be about 25 seconds slow compared to "wall clock" time.
