Here is my complaint Rogers Communications and I hope the CRTC - Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission - Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission is paying attention Rogers (333 Bloor St East, Toronto, ON) has been driving me crazy to switch to the fiber optics. They assure me, it’s in my area. After agreeing to have Rogers tv Toronto do the stitch. I waited 3 hours and was repeatedly hung up upon attempting to book the installation. I waited home today for 3 hours to be told that there is no fiber in my area yet. They can’t install anything. So I wasted 3 hour s bookings and then an afternoon waiting to be told that Rogers product they drove me crazy trying to upsell me on, isn’t yet available to me. I specifically asked the agent who was selling me on the switch to make sure it is available in my area( downtown Toronto) he assured me it was. I am still waiting for my apology but I won’t hold my breath. Rogers To say Rogers-Canada has BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!l

@DF62 What services do you currently have with Rogers? Did you have the legacy Rogers Internet and Rogers Digital TV, and was the Rogers agent trying to migrate you to an Ignite bundle?
Also, if you go to https://www.rogers.com/internet/packages and click the "Check availability" button for "Ignite Internet 2.5 Gigabit", does it list that speed tier as being available at your address?
Rogers is selling their DOCSIS (cable) Internet service as "Fibre-powered Ignite Internet TM", but that service is not Fibre to the Home; it's only Fibre to the Neighbourhood and coax to the home.
