CAN’T FFWD PVR PROGRAM

Recorded a program channel 129 CTC Atlantic.  When I played it, could not fast forward through program or commercials.  Message “fast forward not allowed on this device”???? Can they do this?

It's unusual for such restrictions to be in place when playing recorded content.  Are you seeing this with all programs recorded on this station?

I use this channel only for occasional timeshifting.  ffwd has worked in the past; recorded a show today on that channel and ffwd worked on it.
