Roaming charges not explained on detailed bill

Anyone else frustrated by the lack of transparency regarding roaming charges? At the very least Rogers should be able to list the dates roaming occurred and what usage triggered the charge (cellular data, answering or making a cellular call, sending a sms message, etc). Maybe I am missing where this information is available but I have only received tips about how to avoid roaming charges in general (airplane mode, removing SIM card, using wifi calling, etc).

Hello @Nml09,

Welcome to the Rogers Community and thank for taking the time to bring this up to our attention.

The usage made abroad should be accessible directly from the device associated with the line, on which roaming charges or the Roam Like Home daily fee was triggered. However, we could provide you with the outgoing usage if you need confirmation.

If you need us to take a deeper look into this, we'll simply need to discuss privately so we can gain access to your account.

Feel free to send a message to @CommunityHelps, if you require further assistance. Click here, to learn more on our private messaging system.

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply.
What exactly do you mean by ‘However, we could provide you with the outgoing usage if you need confirmation.’

In my experience, any attempt at securing this information has been fruitless. This is exactly what I meant by a lack of transparency from Rogers. This information SHOULD be included on my bill.

From CRTC website:

2. Cap on data roaming charges

  1. A service provider must suspend national and international data roaming charges once they reach $100 within a single monthly billing cycle, unless the account holder or authorized user expressly consents to pay additional charges.

Please describe what constitutes “expressly consents to pay additional charges”. The sms received when roaming does not mention this cap or ask for consent.
