Subject: Request for Cell Tower Installation in Stewart, BC and Highway 37A/37 Corridor
Dear Rogers Communications,
I am writing on behalf of the residents and visitors of Stewart, BC, to formally request the installation of a cell tower to provide much-needed mobile coverage along Highway 37A, Highway 37, and the surrounding remote areas.
Currently, there is little to no cellular service in these areas, which poses a significant risk to public safety, particularly for travelers, commercial transport, emergency responders, and local residents. With frequent travel along these highways and limited access to emergency services, the lack of coverage presents serious challenges in the event of accidents, mechanical breakdowns, or medical emergencies.
Improved mobile connectivity would also support local businesses, tourism, and economic development in Stewart and the broader region. Given the increasing reliance on mobile communication for navigation, business operations, and emergency response, adding a cell tower would be a crucial investment in community safety and infrastructure.
I (We) kindly request that Rogers conduct an assessment of the feasibility of installing a cell tower in the region. We would appreciate any information regarding potential plans, funding opportunities, or partnerships to facilitate this project.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to your response and to discussing how we can work together to enhance connectivity in Stewart and along these vital transportation corridors.
Sincerely,
TR
