Ignite Wi-Fi app needs a "no internet option"

sirhomealot
I'm here a lot

My biggest reason for using the Ignite Wi-Fi app is to remote check on the status of the Gateway and pods when my internet appears to be offline. My goal is to reboot the modem w/o physically unplugging it/replugging it.

But because the app always wants to sign me in to the Rogers server before letting me do anything, it takes forever for the app to give me the options I'm looking for.

I think the app needs to be rebuilt with two ideas in mind:

- always works whether internet connectivity exists or not

- log-in function is handled in the app, not in a secondary browser window, which is slow and frustrating.

Thanks!

Hi @sirhomealot,

I hope you're enjoying the Ignite TV service. We're always working hard to improve the app. Thanks for using the app and providing such great feedback. We'll be happy to forward it to the team in charge.
