Hello. I find an issue casting my Rogers Ignite to my Chromecast this year; last year no issue. Do we need to update our Chromecast? Streaming Netflix, Disney, etc is no issue

This thread is specific to the Chromecast with Google TV; are you not able to cast the Ignite TV content to the Chromecast with Google TV? Please provide us with more details about the Ignite TV casting failure and your setup, including the Chromecast version and the TV.

I have a Smart Samsung TV with a Chromecast to be able to use my Ignite at the cottage. This season we have found that whenever we cast Ignite (versus Netflix, etc) it is very glitchy.

I appreciate additional details; have you tried more than one device to cast Ignite TV content?
I'm assuming both your TV and the device are connecting to the same WiFi network. How strong and stable is the WiFi network at your cottage?
You can also try clearing Ignite TV app's cache and data to see if this helps in smooth casting.
