ping spikes on 2.5GB Ethernet port

Hi just curious if anyone has tested the orange port on the xb7 modem, i have been having terrible ping spikes on any game i play. since i switched to rogers 2 months ago. i noticed when i'm connected to the 2.5 port i have more spikes compared to the normal ports.

Thanks for posting your inquiry to the community.

We have not been advised of any issues with the 2.5 GB port on the gateway modems. Please provide us with a ping test run from the command prompt on your device while connecting to the 2.5 GB port and another ping test run from one of the other ethernet ports.
