i moved my rogers account to the Rogers ignite, in outlook i am no longer able to send or receive email to a
... @ can. rogers.com adress.
I've read elswhere in these forums that when you cancel your rogers plan you loose your can.roger.s.com e mails, however I did not cancel with trogers, i simply switched to a new plan. Do you think it can be restored, i get many e mails to the can.rogers.com address and I have had it over 25 years....
help !

@efc1 : Are you able to see your e-mails in Webmail in a browser (web based e-mail) link below, click mail on the top right and fill in your e-mail address and password?
If that works, then there may be an issue with your Outlook, but that's unlikely if you simply migrated to Ignite. Something may have gone amiss with the migration. Have you tried a different e-mail client like mail on a device like a phone or tablet?
You can PM the moderators on this forum. I have found them most helpful in the past.
When logged into the forum, click on @CommunityHelps . On the page that comes up, you'll see a link on the top right of the screen to "send a message". If you're using a tablet or phone, you may need to switch your browser to the desktop version. How to do that will depend on the device but a web search should find it. There may be some back and forth required while Rogers get your personal information to look into your account. Personal information is not allowed in this forum.

Hello , first, thank-you for taking the time to revie my problem. I am not that well versed with moving around the internet. I tried that Yahoo page you suggested, I put the e mail address in and it couldn't find it. Perhaps If I explain my situation better you may have a different solution
approximatly 25 years ago i was living oiut in urral Ontario and the only internet offered was the rogers rocket system. I had outlook express and used a ...@can.rogers.com. My computor was updated and I eventually started using the google site and a gmail address. I used the outlook and can.rogers.com for nuisance e mails, realty alerts things like that and used my gmail as my main e mail, I am operating windows 7 and outlook 2013 through office 2013. I refer to the outlook express to keep track of any useful emails on the can.rogers.com address. I also used outlook to look up old gmails that i need to see again, it has a better way of sorting emails, however june 6 2022 the gamil stopped working in outlook. Approx. 6 months ago i switched from the rocket hub to Rogers internet ignite. Last week I was not able ot retreive emails through outlook for the can.rogers. email and of course still not able to access the gmails fromlast year. So in my limited knowlage of this stuff I think that from Rogers perspective I cancelled out of the rocket which cariied and provded me access to the can.rogers.com e mail address. I think I may have ot change the servser from tyhe former rocket hub to the new rocket ignite, however i have no idea how to do this.
All i use is a home computor. I am not able to access outlook through my phone , however i do use the google chrome through my phone when I am not in the office..
Does any of this make any sense ? I tried as you suggested onthe yahoo page, but appranlty it does not recoognize wither my gamil address or my can.rogers adress. on the site it is offered to have the password sent ot my e mail address , however whne i put in either the gmail or rogers address a window comes up saying they cannot help right now , the problem is on their side and to try again later.
Again, thank-you for your help.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe I can help you with this since it's not a normal XXX@rogers.com e-mail address. The link I provided (for browser based Webmail) is probably only good for XXX@rogers.com e-mail addresses after you click on the mail icon and try to sign in. It certainly won't work for Gmail addresses and I'm not sure if it'll work for your XXX@can.rogers.com e-mail address (probably not). You may wish to try the PM route I mentioned in my previous post.
Webmail is typically used by people when they're travelling or when their e-mail client (like Outlook) is not working.

How is it that you have a @can.rogers.com email address ? that is not a standard email domain used by rogers customers? were you using a different cable internet company before that was taken over by rogers? what city do you live in?
